I drove to site today and was speechless! In a few short hours our house has taken shape - with walls, doorways and window frames. It's like one big jigsaw puzzle you can put together in an afternoon! Heavy timber mind - we needed to take on a couple of young labourers for added muscle! The last of the steel is being welded into position, and the timber framing will be fixed in place properly once the remaining timber frames arrive. Then it's the roof trusses.

Wow what a nice plot of land and the house looks like its going to be stunning! Can't wait to see the final result! Erika Janin
Located near Nelson in New Zealand, the paddock measures three acres with a stream running through it, views to the mountains, forests and farmland, with the only noise to break the peace being the sheep next door. A former tobacco growing region, the valley and surrounding hills are now known for blackcurrents, hops, apples, olives and vineyards. Our little plot was originally owned by Thomas Eden in 1862, who built the cottage and farmed cattle on the land. We are planning to build our dream home here!
