How long does it take to dig a big hole? all day almost - the hole of about 3.2m deep by 3m wide will house the 25,000 litre water tank, since we don't get mains water out in the country. Water will be collected on our roof and stored in the huge concrete tank. We got the digger in, and moved a lot of earth!
