A whole year on from the initial land clearing, the long grass grew back, the stream alternated between trickle and torrent, and we enjoyed several nights camping under the stars and waking up to the birdsong. But the waiting is finally over... the footprint has been scraped bare, house plans submitted, and Ben is about to begin groundworks and foundations. Watch this space for regular updates!
